The Conversion alerts interaction (referred to in the codebase as ConversionNotifications) is a social-proof overlay that rotates through real, recent conversions during the session. Each alert shows a first name, city or country (from IP), and how recently they converted — for example, "Jamie from Austin, TX signed up for a free trial 14 minutes ago."
One per webinar. eWebinar only allows a single Conversion alerts interaction per webinar. If one is already on the timeline, the type is hidden from the Add menu.
Settings
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| URL linked to notification | Where clicking the alert sends the attendee. Optional. |
| Display on | Top or bottom of the presentation room. |
| On mobile | Show or hide on mobile (default: hide). |
| Show conversions from last N days | The recency window the alert rotates through. Default 7 days. |
Prerequisites
Conversion alerts only show something meaningful once the webinar is actually recording conversions. Set that up first:
In the editor preview, placeholder names are used so you can see the overlay layout. In a live session, only real conversions from the selected recency window appear.
How to add it
- Open the webinar editor and scrub to the point in the video where you want the interaction to appear.
- Click the + button above the timeline and pick the interaction type from the dropdown (or use See all interactions to browse the full template library).
- Configure its settings in the editor that opens, then save.
