Skip follow-up emails after an attendee converts

Use the "Don't send if attendee has converted" toggle on a follow-up email so converted attendees stop receiving sales reminders after they buy or book.

Once someone converts in your webinar — buys, books a call, or completes any interaction wired up as a conversion event — you usually don't want to keep emailing them "did you forget about our offer?" eWebinar has a built-in toggle for that on every follow-up email.

Where the toggle lives

  1. Open the webinar editor and go to the Notifications tab.
  2. Expand the Follow-up section.
  3. Edit an existing follow-up email, or click Add a follow-up email.
  4. Inside the notification modal you'll see a Don't send if attendee has converted toggle. Turn it on for sales-y follow-ups you don't want to send to paying customers.

What counts as "converted"

"Converted" means the attendee fired a conversion event during the webinar. Conversion events are triggered by specific interaction types (Call to Action, Special Offer, Contact Request, Tip with Ko-fi, and the conversion-capable interactions documented in conversion tracking overview). It is not based on attendance or watch percentage.

The skip-when-converted toggle only affects the current follow-up email. It's per-notification, not webinar-wide — so you can keep sending thank-you or onboarding emails after conversion while skipping the offer-reminder sequence.

Typical use

  • Post-webinar "Last chance — offer expires tonight" reminder: turn on.
  • Welcome/onboarding email to new customers: leave off.
  • "Missed the webinar? Here's the replay" email to no-shows: leave off (the cohort is already "didn't attend", not "didn't convert").
