Custom domain add-on

Host your registration and webinar pages on a subdomain of your own domain (e.g. webinars.yourcompany.com) instead of yoursubdomain.ewebinar.com.

The Custom domain add-on maps a subdomain you control (for example, webinars.yourcompany.com) to your eWebinar registration, thank-you, and webinar pages. Visitors never see an ewebinar.com URL. This improves brand trust and, because your ads, landing pages, and webinar all sit on the same domain, tracking is significantly more reliable — especially under Apple's privacy restrictions, which penalize cross-domain journeys.

Set it up

  1. Open the Profile menu → Domains page (app.ewebinar.com/home/profile/domains). You must be an Admin.
  2. Enable Custom domain. If you haven't subscribed to the add-on yet, you'll be prompted to.
  3. Enter the subdomain and root domain you want to use. You must use a subdomain — webinars.mycompany.com works, mycompany.com alone does not.
  4. Click Save and walk through the 5-step setup wizard. Step 4 asks you to update your DNS records with the values eWebinar shows you; if you don't manage DNS, hand this to your IT team.
  5. When DNS has propagated (usually a few minutes), click Verify now.

eWebinar provisions the TLS certificate for your subdomain via Let's Encrypt. If SSL fails to issue, add the CAA record 0 0 issue "letsencrypt.org" to your DNS, then click Verify again.

Unsubscribing breaks your links. If you cancel the Custom domain add-on, links pointed at your custom subdomain stop working. Before cancelling, either set up a domain-level redirect from webinars.yourcompany.com back to yoursubdomain.ewebinar.com, or manually swap out the custom-domain URLs everywhere you've shared them.
